How to Resolve Infertility Issues

In vitro fertilization

For many couples, the idea of starting a family together is extremely exciting and is an important part of their relationship. Unfortunately, however, many couples struggle with conception issues. Finding infertility solutions can not only be a medical benefit, but it can give a couple the joy of knowing that their dream of having a child together can become a reality.

If you are trying to get pregnant and are concerned that you aren’t physically able to conceive, try to give it some time. Doctors actually recommend that women under age 35 should try to get pregnant for one year before contacting a healthcare professional. If you’re above the age of 35, you may be concerned about menopause impacting your ability to get pregnant as well. Males with low testosterone — low t — may also play a part in infertility issues. There are low t centers that can help.

Luckily, there are many remedies for infertility problems including medications, assisted reproductive technology, in vitro fertilization and visits to low t centers. Read on to learn more about resolving infertility issues.

How to Resolve Issues with Conceiving a Child:

  • One of the most common factors associated with infertility is the participation in certain high risk behaviors, especially smoking cigarettes. Research has shown that even smoking as few as five cigarettes a day can result in lower fertility rates for both women and men. If you or your partner smokes and are having trouble conceiving a child, you should try to quit smoking. Talk to your doctor and see if there’s anything that he or she would recommend.
  • Another factor that can cause fertility problems relates to mental and emotional well-being. A 2003 study indicated that women who suffer from depression may enter menopause earlier than women without depression. If you find yourself suffering from depression and have yet to look at taking any medications for it, you may want to consider it to increase your chances for pregnancy.
  • When it comes to infertility issues, it can be easy to assume that it’s the woman’s “fault.” However, men can also have problems that lead to issues with a woman getting pregnant. Have your husband visit a doctor to see if he may have a problem with low t. In that case, there are plenty of low t centers out there that can work to restore more testosterone.

The biggest thing to remember when dealing with infertility issues that neither you or your partner should feel guilty. Everyone’s bodies are different, and while it may be incredibly frustrating, don’t hate yourself for not being able to conceive a child yet. There are many wonderful resources out there that can help, so don’t get too down on yourself.
